I’m the human behind this project. And yeah, that’s actually me in the photos, not some polished AI mockup. 😊

I’m a former Independent Fundamental Baptist pastor. I didn’t just dip my toes into faith—I drowned in it. For decades, I ate, slept, and breathed total devotion to the system. Put simply: religion was my life.

In 2019, I walked away from the pulpit and the pews for good.

It wasn't because I "just wanted to sin," or because I "got offended by imperfect people." The exact opposite is true. It was actually decades of quantum-level Bible study and a relentless search for truth that led me out. As Mark Twain so perfectly put it: “The best cure for Christianity is reading the Bible.”

As for the “getting hurt by imperfect people” part, let’s call that “Hindsight Epiphany.” It wasn’t until I stepped outside of the echo chamber, the constant manipulation stopped, and the psychological fog cleared, that I was able to recognize the spiritual abuse and religious trauma.

I wasn't the broken one. The system was.

Leaving that behind started the ultimate adventure of liberation, healing, and the creative act of defining my own meaning and forging my own identity. I had to learn how to move beyond the religion that had consumed my life, and instead, make life my religion.

To me, it’s the secular sacred. It’s a Sunday morning spent with hot coffee and a book you read purely for pleasure, not out of obligation. It’s the holy ritual of feeling the sun on your skin without calculating your worthiness to receive it. It’s laughing until your ribs ache, leaning into things that bring you pure joy, and realizing that a perfectly ordinary day is a miracle all on its own.

That’s what this apparel is about. It’s worn-in, lived-in gear for the people who are doing the hard, beautiful work of self-authorship—and reclaiming what it means to truly exist.
